File #005 action : video
[A weekend of lost memories - it sat poorly with her, especially when she went back over her notes and found them missing as well. The dates for the weekend were written in her hand, but anything she'd written had been erased. Or maybe she hadn't written anything. The most concerning thing was that now that the weekend had ended, several people had gone missing or returned. Two days was a long time to lose her bearings and it made her restless. Which was why she'd gone to the shop to look around for anything useful.
Last thing she expected was to find the glove and eyeglass set - something so useful just left here like it was a new toy to be experimented with by anyone in the village. Something about it drew her to using it, but after the first day and the headaches, she realized it was probably something that belonged to someone. Which is why a few days later, after the headaches settle, she asks the village.]
Agent Carter reporting in with a few questions for the village.
One: Has anyone lost a pair of these? [She holds up the sunglasses, labeled ARI on the side to the camera.] I located them in the shop - interesting technology you have. I'd like to return them, if you're inclined to receive them.
[It packs one hell of a punch anyway, and she does not want that anymore. Peggy rubs her temple as he sets the glasses down out of view.]
Two: Sparring partners - hand to hand combat, preferably advanced non-magic practitioners. Willing to train people new to it, but more looking for practice myself. Can also train or spar in weapons - guns or knives specifically.
Three: On a more personal note, to my roommates - if you don't start cleaning your areas and picking up your things, I will do it for you.
[She looks straight into the camera with her usual no-nonsense look in her eyes.]
You will not enjoy it if I am forced to do so.
That is all.

That was my next suggestion. The less they have, the less disgusting they can be. You could also give them the option of living in the stables.
[cadets who lived like animals may as well live with them, after all.]
Some. I have more experience with blades.
[double wielding blades while flying through the air, but details.]
written; (instant cleaning biffles)
[Because Thor still freaks her out a little. Aliens, cleaning bro. Aliens.]
I'm learning those as well. Mostly knives and throwing axes - crude, but it gets the job done on the field.
written; (yessss)
Prince, huh? Bet he thinks you're his maid.
[he's never even seen the ocean, aliens aren't even a thing for him. Sob.]
I see. You train at the battle dome then I assume.
written; (and now the village fears for its mess)
[Because she isn't really admitting to infiltrating HYDRA, getting Erskine out and shooting the hell out of that place. Noooo, neeeeever.]
When others are involved? Yes. Holographic axes tend to leave less mess behind. By myself? Behind my apartment building. Trees are just as good for target practice, especially when you hang something from the branches.
written; (as well it should, haha)
What building do you live in?
written; (fear the tiny cleaning squad - the most fearless squad ever)
Flame building, second floor. You?
written; (legit)
...7th floor, same building.
written; (akd; come down to the 2nd floor, levi, terrify thor into putting his boots away)
Name?
written; (lmao maybe he will)
Levi. You?
written; (now i imagine tiny levi up against gianthor)
A pleasure to make your acquaintance.
written; (fffft best mental image)
When is the next time you practice?
written; (he's used to titans, so thor should be a nice change, right?)
written; (yeah man, he's totally taken down bigger~)
written; (tell stories of your kills and thor might just like you too)
Carter, out.
ooc;
aahhh.
Re: ooc;
Re: ooc;
I'm probably going to crash soon but I will hit this up tomorrow!
Re: ooc;
I'll post up the time jump setup and feel free to post whenever you can. o7
[Action - next day, morning]
At 8:00AM, she's there, dressed in her usual blue pencil skirt, heels and white blouse. It's a bit chill out so she has on a brown overcoat, underneath which is strapped her throwing knives and two axes. Carter is stretching, readying herself for the usual exercise, but also keeping an ear out for anyone approaching. First, the heavy duty workout - she takes out an axe and pitches it at the paper target in front of her: nailing it straight in the head.]
perma-action
He arrives in time to see the axe strike the target. Impressive. She's not as tall as Ginia, though the shoes are a bit misleading. They make him lift an eyebrow, because they appear entirely inappropriate for combat wear.
His arms are folded under the cloak, wings back and tucked under the jacket so they won't get in the way.]
Not bad. But it only counts if you can do it again.
no subject
I wouldn't be doing this if-- [She launches the second axe at a different target, further away, right into the head. After confirming the kill, she turns to see him.] --I couldn't. Good to see you.
no subject
Yeah.
[he doesn't have much experience throwing blades, so she's got an edge (ha...ha...) on him there.]
How d'you wanna start?
no subject
[She goes to the first target and wrenches the axe out, flipping it around as she walks over to hand it to Levi.]
Or would a knife fight better suit you?
no subject
[flatly, but he takes it, feeling the weight. He's not really spent much time throwing axes. Knives are closer to what he works with.]
I usually use longer blades, but knives will work.
no subject
[She leaves the first axe with Levi and goes to retrieve the second, working it out of the wood and the paper target. She hefts it in her hand, wondering how much longer until she needs to sharpen the edge as she walks back.]
Longer blades as in swords or something else? If you'd rather spar with blades face to face, we may want to move to the Battle Dome.
