File #005 action : video
[A weekend of lost memories - it sat poorly with her, especially when she went back over her notes and found them missing as well. The dates for the weekend were written in her hand, but anything she'd written had been erased. Or maybe she hadn't written anything. The most concerning thing was that now that the weekend had ended, several people had gone missing or returned. Two days was a long time to lose her bearings and it made her restless. Which was why she'd gone to the shop to look around for anything useful.
Last thing she expected was to find the glove and eyeglass set - something so useful just left here like it was a new toy to be experimented with by anyone in the village. Something about it drew her to using it, but after the first day and the headaches, she realized it was probably something that belonged to someone. Which is why a few days later, after the headaches settle, she asks the village.]
Agent Carter reporting in with a few questions for the village.
One: Has anyone lost a pair of these? [She holds up the sunglasses, labeled ARI on the side to the camera.] I located them in the shop - interesting technology you have. I'd like to return them, if you're inclined to receive them.
[It packs one hell of a punch anyway, and she does not want that anymore. Peggy rubs her temple as he sets the glasses down out of view.]
Two: Sparring partners - hand to hand combat, preferably advanced non-magic practitioners. Willing to train people new to it, but more looking for practice myself. Can also train or spar in weapons - guns or knives specifically.
Three: On a more personal note, to my roommates - if you don't start cleaning your areas and picking up your things, I will do it for you.
[She looks straight into the camera with her usual no-nonsense look in her eyes.]
You will not enjoy it if I am forced to do so.
That is all.

According to a number of Midgardian Texts - [He taps a magazine in his arm.] A tidy mate is much desirous in Midgardian women.
[action]
[Sometimes they're filled with rubbish (mostly rubbish, actually), but this time it seems to have helped. She walks over and takes the magazine.]
And yes, they are - especially to a military woman. These things are of interest to you?
[action]
[The part where they talk about why he' doing this? Is not going to happen. At all.]
[action]
To tell you the truth, Thor, if you want advice on women, it's best to ask one and leave these - [She closes the magazine and sets it back on the top of his stack.] -for the thin entertainment they were meant to be.
[action]
[action]
What is it about our women that befuddle you? [She had to teach one man about women, so why not another?]
[action]
[He sighs and settles into the sofa, missing her keenly even now.]
I thought perhaps many women of Midgard were thus, but find that not to be so. I have met one that reminds me much of the maids of Asgard, and you who reminds me much of the Lady Sif.
[action]
Jane Foster is a unique and wonderful woman. What some would call one in a million. She perseveres where others would have given up ages ago, and I know she's still doing the same. It's alright to miss her. It can't be easy being separated like this.
[She leans forward a little, tilting her head so she can better look into Thor's face.]
But you needn't call me a lady, Thor. My name is Peggy - that's just fine.
[action]
[He shakes his head and sets the stack aside. He will take it back to his room once they are finished. Somber and still he returns Peggy's gaze easily.]
This once more is strange to me. I intend it as a gesture of respect, of goodwill.
[action]
What is to come? Do you fear for her?
[action]
[It pulls a tense smile from him, something faintly bitter- the term reminds him much of the Son of Coul and how quietly capable he had been. He misses the man as well.]
Something believed to be the end of all I hold dear. We were lost, she and I. Somewhere far from Midgard or Asgard and neither of us had the power to return. I know not what is to come after, nor if we shall ever find our way home.
[action]
...And my sympathies. [To not know your own future when the outcome looks bleak, it isn't a fate she'd wish on anyone.]
But you must have faith, Thor, in yourself and your Lady Jane. There is no obstacle the two of you together cannot overcome, is there?
[action]
[action]
There isn't a day where I don't worry about Steve, even if he's safe.
[action]
The good Captain does have a talent for finding trouble, be there war or peace. Tis a valid concern.
[action]
[She smiles back and holds out a hand to help him with his books.]
And yes, you would have to be a fool not to care for Jane. She's a lovely woman and likely to give you one right in the eye for not noticing her.
[action]
[He's not sure what Steve had been like before- but a warrior cannot be made so easily, no matter what the Man of Iron might have said. A warrior's spirit was something that came from a hard edged life.]
Just as the good Captain would be a fool to not care for you as he does.
[action]
So, perhaps later, we can share a drink to Ms. Foster's honor? She's the sort to deserve it, I think.
[action]
[The former traits that Asgardians held in high esteem- the last something Thor has come to admire in his Midgardian companions. That though they be honed at a sharper edge due to a rougher life, there is a kindness, a sense of justice deep within all of them, bundled in steel and blood and bone. He will never tire of their capabilities.]
She would find that agreeable, were she here. And I would be honored to share such a drink with you.
[action]
Later tonight or tomorrow then? I might need it, seeing as how I have quite a few battles ahead of me.
[action]
[action]
They're more for sport than anything else, but should a real battle present itself, I would be honored to fight at your side as well. I've heard stories of what you could do, and it should be quite impressive to see it with my own eyes.
[action]
[action]
I'll be looking forward to a day when we can work together, Thor.
