[A weekend of lost memories - it sat poorly with her, especially when she went back over her notes and found them missing as well. The dates for the weekend were written in her hand, but anything she'd written had been erased. Or maybe she hadn't written anything. The most concerning thing was that now that the weekend had ended, several people had gone missing or returned. Two days was a long time to lose her bearings and it made her restless. Which was why she'd gone to the shop to look around for anything useful.

Last thing she expected was to find the glove and eyeglass set - something so useful just left here like it was a new toy to be experimented with by anyone in the village. Something about it drew her to using it, but after the first day and the headaches, she realized it was probably something that belonged to someone. Which is why a few days later, after the headaches settle, she asks the village.]

Agent Carter reporting in with a few questions for the village.

One: Has anyone lost a pair of these? [She holds up the sunglasses, labeled ARI on the side to the camera.] I located them in the shop - interesting technology you have. I'd like to return them, if you're inclined to receive them.

[It packs one hell of a punch anyway, and she does not want that anymore. Peggy rubs her temple as he sets the glasses down out of view.]

Two: Sparring partners - hand to hand combat, preferably advanced non-magic practitioners. Willing to train people new to it, but more looking for practice myself. Can also train or spar in weapons - guns or knives specifically.

Three: On a more personal note, to my roommates - if you don't start cleaning your areas and picking up your things, I will do it for you.

[She looks straight into the camera with her usual no-nonsense look in her eyes.]

You will not enjoy it if I am forced to do so.

I understand he's feeling a bit 'fish out of the water,' but even so - cleaning up after oneself should be a universal trait.

You would be surprised. Despite what the guys in the army are like, most men tend to be a little messy. You should have seen Bucky's room at the orphanage. [It's the first time he's been able to talk about his friend and not feel an unbearable weight pressing down on his chest. Progress...]

I can actually believe that about Barnes. [It's a small step, but a good one. She smiles a bit, nostalgia creeping into her voice for a second. It's gone quickly though and she sighs.]

Also contrary to what you might think, I've seen what men outside the military are like as well. It doesn't take them long to learn to clean up, they just need-- [a pause] --incentive.

Incentive. [Humor clouds his tone.] Like an angry, armed women glaring at them? [Honestly there's no better incentive. The one time he saw Peggy truly angry was enough to make him want to do whatever it took to keep her happy.]

[Peggy smirks at the camera, more than amused at how vividly Steve seems to remember that day.]

Yes, I do believe that's excellent incentive for some people.

Oh, of course. [He nods.] Just don't actually shoot at them alright? At least not when they're shield-less.

If they've angered me enough that I'll shoot at them shield-less maybe they deserve it.

I'm sure they always deserve it. I just don't want you feeling guilty later.

Have you ever known me to feel guilty about shooting someone who deserved it?

You clearly haven't been on the receiving end of Henry's look. Yet. [He's almost looking forward to that.]

I'll have to see for myself, although I doubt a child would warrant enough anger from me to be shot at. Unless there's something I need to know about him?

No. Maybe if his family were here it would be a different story. [Steve knows very little overall about Henry's family. But the things he's heard about them have been...interesting to say the least.]

What do you mean about his family? They weren't unkind to him, were they?

[Ah. Maybe he should have kept his mouth shut.]

No.Nothing like that. It's just a little...complicated.

The sort of complicated I should know about now that we're under one roof, or the sort of complicated that you promised him you wouldn't tell anyone?

....The sort of complicated I'm sure he'd be happy to fill you in on yourself if you asked?

I'll see if it comes up in conversation someday. Meanwhile, shall we set a date for our spar?

[He grins slightly.]

I thought we already had. [His tone is teasing. It's not surprising that she had forgotten, getting turned around in their conversation.]

The Battle Dome, 1130. I'll see you there.

Distracted. [She sounds disappointed in herself and sighs, but there is a smile on her lips.]

You see? I already need training - maybe I'll just try spying on that other Asgardian for awhile, see where that gets me.

[He blinks and slowly raises a brow.]

...You're not talking about Thor...are you?

Thor hardly needs any spying - all I need to do is listen and I know where he is.

Loki, however, is much better at keeping quiet about his affairs and the people he's chosen to include in them.

Well it's hard to be quite that manipulative if you can't keep a few secrets quiet. What's brought this one, anyways? Why the sudden interest in Loki?
