File #005 action : video
[A weekend of lost memories - it sat poorly with her, especially when she went back over her notes and found them missing as well. The dates for the weekend were written in her hand, but anything she'd written had been erased. Or maybe she hadn't written anything. The most concerning thing was that now that the weekend had ended, several people had gone missing or returned. Two days was a long time to lose her bearings and it made her restless. Which was why she'd gone to the shop to look around for anything useful.
Last thing she expected was to find the glove and eyeglass set - something so useful just left here like it was a new toy to be experimented with by anyone in the village. Something about it drew her to using it, but after the first day and the headaches, she realized it was probably something that belonged to someone. Which is why a few days later, after the headaches settle, she asks the village.]
Agent Carter reporting in with a few questions for the village.
One: Has anyone lost a pair of these? [She holds up the sunglasses, labeled ARI on the side to the camera.] I located them in the shop - interesting technology you have. I'd like to return them, if you're inclined to receive them.
[It packs one hell of a punch anyway, and she does not want that anymore. Peggy rubs her temple as he sets the glasses down out of view.]
Two: Sparring partners - hand to hand combat, preferably advanced non-magic practitioners. Willing to train people new to it, but more looking for practice myself. Can also train or spar in weapons - guns or knives specifically.
Three: On a more personal note, to my roommates - if you don't start cleaning your areas and picking up your things, I will do it for you.
[She looks straight into the camera with her usual no-nonsense look in her eyes.]
You will not enjoy it if I am forced to do so.
That is all.

Once there, if Peggy isn't already there, she'll do some light stretches and walk around to limber up.]
[Action]
She enters briskly and spots Ginia.]
Sorry to keep you waiting.
[Action]
Ginia smiles and gives a bow of her head, cellphone already out, fingers typing away before she steps in and turns the screen so Peggy can read.]
No need to apologize. Shall we set some ground rules?
[Action]
Can you not speak?
[Action]
/Correct. Feel free to speak though, I don't mind./
[Action]
An acquaintance of mine here was deaf - I learned to communicate with him, albeit roughly.
As for rules - no lethal blows to the neck, no pressure points. I have another appointment to return something to someone later and I'd rather not be dead for it.
[Action]
/No wing shots, no spraining or breaking joints and bones./
[Action]
Take downs and tap outs. First to ten or just until we're satisfied?
[Action]
[Right now, Ginia mostly wants to feel out Peggy's abilities, see how they match up.]
/To the mats?/
[Action]
After you.
[Mats meant she'd need her grip, so after speaking, she leaned over and slipped out of her kitten heels, lining them up.]
[Action]
She turns toward Peggy, watching and waiting.]
[Action]
When Ginia turns, she steps away from her shoes and walks forward, the pencil skirt hugging her hips giving her the normal 1940s sway. It's an act, the skirt isn't as tight as it looks and she's more than capable of kicking in it, but she's got her eyes on Ginia's to see if she notices that. Her gait is easy and she steps up to the mats, walking like a dancer might - or at least someone accustomed to heels - toe first, weight down on the pad of her foot, then the heel. She turns to face Ginia and keeps her arms relaxed at her side - but there's tension in her jaw, ready for whoever has to throw the first blow.]
How long have you been fighting?
[Action]
/Long enough./
[She signs, watching, waiting. The first move is always the most dangerous one; it can reveal so much and leaves the attacker open for a counter when they don't know what to expect.
Ginia paces clockwise, sizing Peggy up. They're the same height, same build. No weapons, which leaves a nice base to work off of, though she's familiar with guns and knives. An agent, so trained. But what agency? Is she even from Earth?]
[Action]
She doesn't know Ginia's background, but from her movements, she's sizing Carter up, looking for an opening, considering her options. It's a waiting game, something Carter knows all too well.
Time to give Ginia something to work with.
Carter feints forward suddenly, darting toward Ginia with her hands raised like a boxer in a defensive stance in front of her body, arms in tight. She'll only get halfway to her though before she jumps back - see if that pulls out a reaction.]
[Action]
She takes two fast steps in, sweeping her left leg toward Peggy's thigh. If Peggy didn't have a later meeting, if they didn't rules, if they both had gear or agreed to fight until one was down on the ground, she might have gone for the knee or ankle.]
