[She's been in Luceti for a day now. A day was more than enough time for the wings to stop hurting, the shock to wear off, and for her to find her old uniform and dress a little less like a girl on her way to primary school in the summer. A day was long enough to learn that this place wasn't entirely hostile and that it was extensive, reaching from the beach to the mountains and out until she hit an invisible wall that seemed to cut her off from whatever lay beyond it.
A day was also long enough to realize she was stuck and that the book was a method of communicating with others. People seemed to talk freely over it and she wasn't the only one arriving either. Captain Nathan Spencer, Peter Parker, Eugene, Sue Richards, Noel Vermillion - names that meant nothing to her, but it indicated that people came and went here according to someone else's agenda.
It hadn't taken her long to find the Guide, either, and after skimming through it, she felt a bit more...well, level was probably the best way to describe it. She's taken to hiding out in the woods for now, waiting to assess the situation before she moved into town. Now there was just one problem that remained: revealing herself to the enclosure and to possibly hostile elements. ]
As I'm not the only person to recently arrive to this place and I'm sure you are all quite tired of repeating the same welcome speeches, let me introduce myself and be brief about it.
Agent Carter, British Royal Military.
Any information not to be found in the guide already so helpfully provided would be appreciated.

voice;
[Man, he did not want to see you here Peggy. Especially not now given all the circumstances.]
voice;
[Because yeah, she heard you were here from Barton, but she hardly believed it until now.]
voice;
[Especially now, of all times.]
voice;
[Not that she wants a welcome, but something about his reaction is just...off.]
Any specific reason you were hoping I wouldn't show up besides the "being trapped within a bubble" one?
voice;
For starters, I was hoping we wouldn't have enough people to start our own club. [He sighs.] But, on a more serious note, this place is deranged. Isn't it normal to not want a friend to be stuck in a rut like this?
[Casually avoiding the "Steve is here" issue for as long as he can. Because if she knows he's here, then it's only a few steps away from telling her he died.]
voice;
Understandable, certainly. I've heard and read about just how daft this place can be, but somehow it's easier to believe when you say it. [After all, who knows crazy and zany as well as they do, right?
....oh please say this place doesn't get worse than what they're already somewhat accustomed to.]
So how many members in our little club now?
voice;
...ah, screw it, Rogers is here too.
[HE DOESN'T WANNA DEAL WITH THIS man where is the scotch.]
voice;
....only wow, what. She knows Howard wouldn't joke about that, but how does that even... How does she even deal with that? Just dropped out of the blue like that? And with Howard being the messenger? Give her a moment, she doesn't want to get her feels all over you. Isn't she a nice friend?]
...I see. Where is he? I have to deck him for standing me up years ago.
voice;
C'mon still not over that? Well, if you must know, the bigshot hero made it past the airplane crash. You're gonna be shocked at the news about it.
voice;
A woman never forgets, Stark. [Some food for thought. Also, disconnecting from this conversation emotionally forever now. Science and intelligence officer is leading the way while the rest of her just goes into a mini-shock coma.] ...Then the formula worked better than Erskine ever could have predicted. How does one even survive something like that?
voice;
voice;
That means Stark's search ended in failure and that they would never meet again. Not in their own world. It meant all the dimming hope was true and that this place has given her a chance, a cruel chance to see someone long dead to her, who she would only lose should they ever leave.]
Astonishing. [Businesslike, professional. She has to keep it together.] Erskine thought it could... But to think, all that time suspended in time. Were there any negative effects?
voice;
[And yes he knows already. But, in a way, he does succeed. After all, it was his future agency that found Steve. It's something, right?]
Anyway he's here. But he's busy. Do you promise not to slap him too hard for standing you up?
[Busy being dead anyway. But he'll do his best to make sure she won't know he died. Not his place and frankly, in her state of mind right now, it wouldn't do her well to break that news.]
voice;
[But she understands Stark's frustration. The only clue to the serum was locked in Steve's DNA and the blood they drew could only tell them so much.]
....As for him, I make no promises.
[Voice]
[He sighs in frustration just thinking about it. Genetic engineering wasn't his business but he can't help himself. He saw first hand what it did to a scrawny wimp like Steve Rogers...it's incredible. But he knows whining about it won't do any good.]
Well you'll have to put a rain check on it. He's not in the village right now. Went off on an important mission. ...He should be back soon though.
[It's almost been a week now right? Can't be much longer until he comes back from the dead. She can be mad at him later for lying.]
[Voice]
An "important mission?" I suppose new blood isn't privy to such information then?
[Voice]
[It wasn't the smoothest excuse, but he's hoping she buys it. He can be blunt and straight-forward, but he can't do it right now. Not to her. Steve can explain himself how he got himself killed.]
[Voice]
I see. A week-long excursion isn't unusual here, is it?
