[A weekend of lost memories - it sat poorly with her, especially when she went back over her notes and found them missing as well. The dates for the weekend were written in her hand, but anything she'd written had been erased. Or maybe she hadn't written anything. The most concerning thing was that now that the weekend had ended, several people had gone missing or returned. Two days was a long time to lose her bearings and it made her restless. Which was why she'd gone to the shop to look around for anything useful.

Last thing she expected was to find the glove and eyeglass set - something so useful just left here like it was a new toy to be experimented with by anyone in the village. Something about it drew her to using it, but after the first day and the headaches, she realized it was probably something that belonged to someone. Which is why a few days later, after the headaches settle, she asks the village.]

Agent Carter reporting in with a few questions for the village.

One: Has anyone lost a pair of these? [She holds up the sunglasses, labeled ARI on the side to the camera.] I located them in the shop - interesting technology you have. I'd like to return them, if you're inclined to receive them.

[It packs one hell of a punch anyway, and she does not want that anymore. Peggy rubs her temple as he sets the glasses down out of view.]

Two: Sparring partners - hand to hand combat, preferably advanced non-magic practitioners. Willing to train people new to it, but more looking for practice myself. Can also train or spar in weapons - guns or knives specifically.

Three: On a more personal note, to my roommates - if you don't start cleaning your areas and picking up your things, I will do it for you.

[She looks straight into the camera with her usual no-nonsense look in her eyes.]

You will not enjoy it if I am forced to do so.

You are on your own for the cleaning. He's been too spoiled by having servants, I expect.

I'll consider it. Though I do believe I antagonize him by breathing, so that's a bit of a tall order.

[Glasses and case go into his pocket, everything safely tucked away. He can breathe a little easier, knowing it's back in his custody and safe. Not in someone else's hands.]

That is what Steve tells me as well. [Well, Thor is learning at least. It's hard to live with two military types - she's extremely touchy about keeping her living space clean even if it's communal.]

The numbers vary according to who goes out and how well the mission goes. Successful ones? No. When something goes wrong? Well.

[She looks at Levi, knowing she doesn't have to tell him what happens when something goes wrong.]

[There's perhaps a long moment of silence, as though he's reflecting on something.]

...Sounds just like home.

Be glad you did not know him in his youth.

We shall see. [If he ever gets that bored.]

[ More out of respect for the challenge than anything, he shows up in his full battle attire. And he's on time, but given that sees him later than her, he still frowns briefly before smiling and... ]

Wow, it seems I'm late.

Not at all.

[She slips the nail file into her inner pocket and stands, straightening her jacket.]

I just prefer to be early to most things. Force of habit.

[Since he looks dressed ready to fight, she holds her hand out.]

Good to see you, Masaomi.

To be honest, it's a relief to have it out of my hands.

Be careful out there, Agent. There are so few of us, that I'd hate to see you disappear, too.

[Spoken like someone who has lost a lot. Peggy watches him during his silence and then looks away.]

This place is always open to training if you like - I keep the dummies and the axes in a spare room, but I can show you where they are.

That would be quite amusing. [Moreso than when he was a child, to be sure.]

It isn't difficult to find me either. [Well, at least when he's in a mood to be found.]

[A lot and then some, and will continue to lose.]

That'd be helpful, thanks.

[ And he takes the hand. She's a foreigner, so that's her custom. ] I'm glad to hear you didn't wait long, then.

They might be! If they've got healing potions from my home than surely they've got other ones too. We'll just have to go digging for them at the item shop is all.

[Selphie's tone softens at the mention of killing never being pleasant. There's a lot of bad memories related to killing others and she'd rather not relive those.] ...No, it's not.

I am a warrior trained by those worthy of admiration and veneration in Asgard, and have been fortunate enough to make battle alongside them as well. Warriors of Midgard are no less valorous, no less worth of one another's regard. I am glad to know them and you as well, my Lady.

Are you sure that you don't wish to gratuitously converse any pleasantries?

I've never had much time for pleasantries, so no.

[She gave him a small smile, but whether it was out of gratitude for the concern or sarcasm over being told to be careful in a place with as many uncertainties as an alien cube capable of destroying the world couldn't be placed.]

[And with that, she headed out to her next appointment.]

[Being in the mood to be found seems to be the biggest problem, though.]

Ah, now that sounds like a true military personnel. I'm surprised you even had the time to manage that one sentence.

[She nodded and pointed upwards to the second floor.]

First room there, flat number 6 is unoccupied. Should it gain an occupant, I'll move the equipment and let you know.
