Shooting them doesn't seem to do nearly as much as I had hoped.
.....
The more advanced medical facilities are at the tactical simulation building, the Battle Dome, yes?
...
And perhaps someone could tell me what day it is as well?

voice | you weren't here for the zombie thing 8\
Where are you?
[His voice softens at that. Really when would they ever get the chance to just settle down and have some time for themselves? Not any time soon apparently.]
No, apparently not. I hope you gave them hell.
voice | i don't flit about with the details 8(
[Shot the hell out of their droids. Took out many of them, but ran out of ammunition as the next wave showed up and the battle hadn't gone well after that. She still feels some pride at having shot at least some of them though.]
Location is uncertain. They left me in the forest and I've been making my way upriver since, hoping to find the village. Larger of the rivers so it isn't completely frozen over.
voice | details are important ):<
I'll meet you half-way.
voice | :( b-but!
[Mostly because one leg isn't working well and she has no shoes and only a limited amount of energy left, but Hell be damned if she isn't going to push forward like always and keep going. It's rough, but she's been through worse and even with the injuries, she can make it.
The New Feather dress clings to her, the hem of it dingy from the walk and the amount of times she's fallen. And although she favors her left leg heavily and is using a branch as a crutch, she's determined and moving steadily forward.]

[With that said, he snaps the journal shut before she can respond. Stuffing it under his arm, he quickens his pace even more until he reaches a fast sprint. It's not long before his t-shirt is soaked with sweat and sticking to his skin. He dodges trees and rocks without issue, letting his body work on autopilot.
After two months of not being able to feel the cold sting of the air, he barely even notices anymore, despite the fact that his hands are slowly growing blue from the cold. He probably should have grabbed a jacket. If not for him than for Peggy.
It feels like he's been running forever when he finally spots Peggy's figure in the distance. Even from his position, he can tell that she's limping. His pace hardly even slows.]
Peggy!
action
[He shuts the journal off before she can respond and then she's left wondering if she should have been a little more subtle about her return. It's strange having anyone worry about her, especially after all that has happened, and she isn't quite sure how to handle it.
Regardless of her trepidation, she keeps moving forward knowing that the New Feather dress is only exacerbating her situation in the cold. She sees him in the distance, running - no jacket, too rushed for that apparently.]
Steve!
[She moves forward, trying to stand a little straighter, walk a little steadier, anything to help alleviate his worry.]
I'm all right! It's fine.
